I’ve just started hearing about this “Makers Faire” thing a few years ago, and am sorry I missed it. When I return to Austin, that’s the sort of thing I think I will like to do with my time. (Plus this really cute girl from Brooklyn has friends who go…I’m starting to wonder if she’s right and that Brooklyn is the “nexus of coolness,” just because it’s full of yummy people.)

That model train setup sounds like the awesomest thing ever. I’ve been doing a little bit of this lately for a project and it’s kicking my ass; my respect for the kind of detail and patience this work takes is endless. If you come across any documentation let me know!
